The Niceboy ION ORBIS Windows & Door Sensor represents a comfortable way to keep your home safe and supervised. You can easily place the sensor on a window or door, and if it detects an unauthorised opening, it will sound the alarm and send a notification to your mobile. Managing the device is incredibly easy; just as with other ION products, everything is handled via the Niceboy ION mobile app.
Installing the Niceboy ION ORBIS Windows & Door Sensor is done in an instant. The sensor consists of two parts: the sensor unit and the magnetic unit. Using the included self-adhesive tape, attach these components each to one side of the door or window. To connect the sensor to your smart home, you’ll need the central control unit Niceboy ION ORBIS Bridge. The Niceboy ION mobile app will assist you with the entire connection process, where you can adjust the settings and connect the sensor to other smart appliances.
You’ll find complete controls for the Niceboy ION ORBIS Windows & Door Sensor in the Niceboy ION mobile app, which also supports many languages (including Czech and Slovak). Apart from the sensors, you can use the app to control all of the Niceboy ION smart home products, and these controls can even be shared between the members of your home. Use your mobile to easily set the parameters, create smart scenarios and time schedules, and organise your devices into groups. The smart Niceboy ION devices also send notifications and information regarding status changes to your mobile, meaning you’ll always have an overview of what’s going on at your home.
After connecting the central control unit ION ORBIS Bridge, you can connect the sensor to other smart devices in your smart home network and use the measured values to launch other smart products and automate your smart home (e.g., automatically turn on the lights when activity is captured). Controlling and connecting all of your ION products is fast and easy to do using the Niceboy ION mobile app. However, the ION ORBIS line can also boast the openness of its system because it supports the protocols ZigBee 3.0, BT, and MESH.
